Local movers in Toronto for condos, apartments and houses
From a bachelor in St. Lawrence to a four-bedroom detached in Etobicoke, local moves are billed by the hour with a written estimate of the time it should take. One crew lead plans the load, talks to your building and stays on the job until the last box is in.

Every kind of Toronto home
Different buildings need different plans. Tell us what you are moving from and to, and the estimate accounts for it.
Condos and apartment towers
Service elevators are booked in time blocks, and many buildings ask for a certificate of insurance naming the condo corporation. Forward your building's move-in rules and we send the certificate to management directly. The crew stages furniture by the elevator so not a minute of your booking is wasted.
Houses, semis and walk-ups
Older semis in neighbourhoods like Leslieville, the Annex and Roncesvalles often have tight turns and narrow stairs. We measure sofas and box springs before we try, take doors off their hinges where needed, and put them back before we leave.
Small offices
Office moves run after hours or on weekends. Desks are labelled by floor plan, computers travel in padded crates, and cables are bagged with each machine so your team can sit down and work the next morning.
How the hours are counted
The clock starts when the crew arrives at your first address and stops when the last item is placed at the new one. Breaks are not billed. One fixed travel charge covers the trip to and from our yard, whatever the traffic on the Gardiner.
Your written estimate lists the crew size, the truck and the expected hours. If the move runs short, you pay for the time used, after the three-hour minimum. If something on the day adds time, such as items that were not on the inventory, the crew lead tells you before carrying on.
Best days to book
Mid-month weekdays have the most open start times. The last weekend of the month fills first, so book three to four weeks ahead if your lease ends then.
Check your dateIs there a minimum booking for local moves?
Yes, local moves have a three-hour minimum. Most studio and one-bedroom moves inside Toronto finish close to that, and the estimator shows the expected time for your home size.
Do you charge for travel time?
One fixed travel charge, equal to one crew hour, covers the drive to your first address and back from the last. The time between your two addresses is part of the hourly move.
Can you move just a few items?
Yes. A sofa, a bed and a few boxes is a normal booking. Choose the studio size in the estimator, add a note, and we will suggest a shorter time window if one is free.
