Packing is the slowest part of any move and the part most likely to break things. Our packers wrap, box and label your home the day before the truck arrives, and can unpack into cupboards and wardrobes at the other end.

Choose how much we pack
Every option uses new boxes, plain packing paper and the same colour-coded room labels.
Full packing
Everything from the kitchen drawers to the front closet, packed and labelled by room. You keep a suitcase of essentials and we do the rest.
Partial packing
Just the hard rooms: kitchen, glassware, mirrors, lamps and art. You pack books, clothes and the things you would rather handle yourself.
Unpacking
Boxes emptied into cupboards and wardrobes, beds made up and empty cartons taken away the same day.
Colour-coded room labels
Every room gets a colour and every box gets a numbered label in that colour. A matching sign goes on each door at your new home, so the crew places boxes without asking where they go.
The box numbers also go on the inventory sheet, which makes it easy to check that box 37 of 52 arrived.
Pianos, art and specialty items
Some things need more than a blanket. Upright pianos move with a piano board and four movers. Large mirrors, glass tabletops and framed art travel in custom-built wooden crates. Safes, treadmills and marble tops get extra hands and the right equipment, all listed in your estimate before moving day.
Your packing timeline
- Six weeks out: book packing with your move and decide what you are not taking.
- Two weeks out: donate, sell or recycle what is staying behind.
- Three days out: set aside your essentials box and important documents.
- The day before: packers arrive in the morning and finish by evening.
How long does packing take?
A one-bedroom condo usually takes two packers half a day. A three-bedroom house is normally a full day for three packers. Packing happens the day before your move, so moving day stays short.
Can I pack some rooms myself?
Yes. Many people pack books, clothes and decor themselves and leave the kitchen and fragile items to us. Choose partial packing in the estimator and list the rooms.
Do you take the boxes away afterwards?
Yes. After unpacking we collect the empty boxes and packing paper. If you unpack yourself, book a free box pickup within 30 days of your move.
