Long-distance movers from Toronto to anywhere in Canada

Moving to Ottawa for a new job, to Calgary for family or across the country to Vancouver? You get one fixed price built from a room-by-room inventory, a delivery window agreed before we load, and a daily update while your things are on the road.

Approximate road distances from Toronto

  • Ottawa~450 km
  • Montréal~540 km
  • Québec City~800 km
  • Halifax~1,800 km
  • Winnipeg~2,200 km
  • Calgary~3,400 km
  • Vancouver~4,400 km

How a fixed long-distance price works

Every long-distance quote starts with an inventory. You walk us through your home on a short video call or list rooms in the estimator, and we note the large furniture, the number of boxes and anything that needs a crate.

That inventory sets the space your load takes on the truck and the crew time at each end. The distance sets the driving cost. Fuel, highway costs and the crew's travel are included in the price you sign, so the only thing that changes it is a change to the inventory.

Before loading, the crew lead labels and lists every item. At delivery you check them off the same list.

Dedicated truck or shared load

Two ways to move the same distance. The estimator shows both when your route allows it.

Dedicated truck

The truck carries only your things and drives straight to your new home. Best for full houses, tight dates and anyone who needs keys and furniture on the same day.

Shared load

Your load shares a truck with other moves on the same route, in its own wrapped and labelled section. It costs less and takes a little longer, which suits apartments and flexible start dates.

Planning a move to another province

  • Update your address with the Canada Revenue Agency, your bank and your employer.
  • Check how to register for health coverage and transfer your driver's licence in your new province; each province sets its own steps.
  • Arrange utilities and internet at the new address before delivery day.
  • Keep passports, documents, keys and medication with you, not on the truck.
  • Use up frozen food and pantry items; we cannot carry perishables or hazardous goods.

Long-distance questions

Still unsure? Call (416) 555-0147 and a coordinator will talk it through.

How is a long-distance price worked out?

From your inventory and the distance. The inventory gives the volume and weight of your load, which sets the truck space and crew time; the distance sets the driving cost. Fuel is included, so the price only changes if your inventory changes.

How will I know where my things are?

Your crew lead or driver texts you an update each day the load is on the road, and calls a day ahead to confirm the delivery time at your new home.

What if my new home is not ready on delivery day?

We can hold your load in sealed crate storage until you are ready. Storage in transit is quoted by the vault per month and added to your estimate.
